we are now accepting applications for Challenge Aspen's 2008 summer internship program

Challenge Aspen’s summer internship program runs June 2nd – August 29th, 2008.  As a Challenge Aspen summer intern you will mainly be working 5 days a week.  This will mostly be Monday through Friday from 8 am – 5 pm, but depending on what camps are going on, you may work weekends and/or evenings.  There could be some times that you may have to work more than 5 days in one week and your 2 days off a week may not always be consecutive.

Summer interns hold a variety of responsibilities:
- Lead instructors for programs designed for local participants, including a variety of recreational and cultural activities.  
- Assist lead program instructors during open enrollment and special camps, including Art Camp, Outdoor Adventure Camp, Music and Dance Camp, and Just for Teens Camp.  
- Administrative support for our camps, including pre, during and post program.
- Create individual itineraries for participants throughout the summer.
- Help in the office by answering phones, filing, maintenance and various other duties.
- Keep our equipment room clean and organized.
- Assist on miscellaneous special projects and events throughout the summer.
